Every time I walk out of Time Salon I'm 100% satisfied. Tia is my stylist and she is great with cutting my hair in into styles that suitable for me.

The best decision I ever made!

True the wait can be long but the HAIR CUTS are 100% worth it. I went there with a ton of hair and wanted something that was trendy and easy. My stylist is Leatrice and to this day she continues to be the most honest person that has ever worked on my hair. She is truly superb at what she does. When I leave there the level of confidence and compliments that I get makes me feel feel more than satisfied about the choice I made about going to TIme Salon!!!!!!!!!!!!I referred many people to that place and everyone leaves their with their on experiences I would have to say I like a stylist that is professional and helps me with the crazy ideas I have for my hair and is not afraid to tell me no and reason with me..........LOL

Good hair cuts but 3-4 hour wait, limited seating and tiny coat closet

When you live in NY, you have a number of hair salon choices. Which is why it's hard to understand why this salon can get away with having the best stylists in NY yet have the worst service in NY. They overschedule so you are guaranteed NOT to get out of there under 4 hours, no matter what service you're having done. Some stylists don't take credit cards (for $100+ services, this is insane) so be sure to check beforehand. I gave them a few chances, but I've decided that my time is worth finding a better organized salon to deal with. Worst of all, they don't supply robes, so you'll leave soaking wet! My advice is to skip this salon and venture further into downtown Brooklyn for the same level of stylist, but higher level of professionalism.

Good quality for the price

I've been there twice...the first time was horrible because one of the guys cut 5 inches more than he was supposed to from my hair. He did a good job on the actual cut itself (layering), but it was way too short and he didn't listen to me at all. The second time, I saw a different person. She cut my hair exactly as specified, and I was really happy with it. The bad part is the waiting...she was working on like 4 other women's hair, and I sat with a wet head for like an hour! I would recommend setting an appointment at 9 a.m. (the first appointment of the day). And if you pay with your credit card, make sure you mark out your card number on their copy of the receipt...they still have one of those old machines that print your entire number and expiration date. Over Christmas someone used my card number to make unauthorized purchases on my account, and I know it was from that salon because I hadn't made any other purchases, and it was 2 days after I had been there.

The waiting was the worst part, but the hair cut was the best part. Don't go on a Saturday!
