Hytec Electric

The owner, Manuel, told me on the phone that to hang two pendant lights(replacements, simple-low ceiling) would take approximately an hour of work at $95/hour. The electricians were in my home 65 minutes and I was charged $150. When I questioned the electrician that did the work he called Manuel who told him the "clock starts when they leave the previous job". Total rip off. Seriously...has anyone heard of this? I said good thing you weren't in Sevierville or some place an hour away. Will never use again or refer anyone.

BEWARE!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! HOME OWNERS WARRANTY SENT OUT THIS COMPANY, TWO MEN CAME OUT TO DO SERVICE CALL, ONE MAN, HENRY, WENT OUTSIDE BY HIMSELF TO COMPLETE INVOICE, ADVISED ME OF THIS, THE OTHER MAN, ROBERT, WHOM I ASKED IF HE NEEDED HELP BRINGING DOWN THE EQUIPMENT FROM OUR UPSTAIRS BEDROOM INDICATED NO. I WALKED DOWN BY MYSELF TO WRITE CHECK OUT TO HENRY, PER HIS REQUEST, AND THE OTHER MAN, STOLE PRESCRIPTION PILLS FROM MY DRESSER. I CALLED EMANUAL HUDSON WHOM OWNS THE COMPANY AND CONFRONTED ROBERT. BOTH HIM AND HENRY INDICATED THAT THEY WERE NEVER ALONE WITHOUT THE OTHER--COMPLETE DISHONESTY...PEOPLE, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK TO SEE IF THESE PEOPLE ARE BONDED AND INSURED. MY HOME OWNERS WARRANTY HAS BEEN NOTIFIED AND SO HAVE THE POLICE.
