We drove our dog (paralyzed) from Florida. They were waiting for us at 7:00 at night. The other option was to do the unmentionable. Our dog's recovery has been bumpy, but the doctors and staff have been there for us every step of the way. It looks like our dog will be back to about 80%, maybe more. The animal care techs are often graduate vets. Very highly qualified doctors and staff. Appointments are no problem. I highly recommend all of these surgeons.

My dog (Golden) had 2 torn ACL's at 1-2 yrs old. She had Dr Milton repair them and she is as good as new and he was terrific. He is a pro at ACL surgery with a patented technique like no other. No worries about any neg review cause it is only absolutely expert knowledge and surgical prowess with him. Even better Dr McDonald is the very best dermatological doctor in the SE. Same dog was a scratching bacterial project and he had cleaned her up and no more scratching and stinking ears. Emergency vet service is comforting as well. My 5 month old Chocolate Labrador Retriever was hit by a car. She had two fractured pelvis'. I took her to Dr.Milton, he took her in with open arms and did both surgeries in one day. i can not thank him enough for doing this for us when no one else would.. he came HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended by many vets and pet owners. Please if anyone needs orthopedic work call this man right here!

The staff is hit or miss. Most of them seem like high schoolers that are bored and playing on their phones or 'horseplaying'. I did deal with some really nice, obviously caring individuals. Unfortunately, those people aren't always there. when your animal is hurt/sick, it's hard to leave them with people you can't really trust. It was really hard here.

Dr. Milton is simply the very best K9 orthopedic vet in the world. There is nothing else to say, he is THE best.

The vets at Veterinary Surgery Center are just wonderful! The Emergency Clinic and the Veterinary Surgery Center are separate unrelated businesses. The Emergency Vets are only available after hours and on weekends. I personally think all of these vets are caring and compassionate people who do amazing work to care for and save lives of pets.

Dr. Milton is a wonderful vet. My dog had surgery yesterday and we are back home in Mobile tonight. She is doing great and was treated like royalty at this caring and loving office. Very professional place. I have seen human hospitals not ran nearly as good as this.

This clinic doubles as an Emergency Clinic. I found the regular clinic staff to be MUCH more caring and considerate than the Emergency clinic staff. I felt that some members of the emergency staff were basically rude and completely unsympathetic...when you have a pet in critical condition, some kindness from the staff goes a long way. I can't disparage the whole emergency staff but the few I had contact with were less than stellar. On the other hand....the regular weekday staff was absolutely wonderful...caring, concerned, helpful and empathetic. It was like night and day dealing with the two different staffs. The vet, Dr. Milton was very down to earth and fantastic and did a wonderful job with my dog. If my dealings with this clinic were solely with the regular staff, I would have rated them a 5 star, but because of the emergency staff I could not.

So far we are having the best experience with them. We just picked up our dog after back surgery. I have never been to a vets office that was so pleasant and helpful. We were able to call and check on him 24hrs a day. Every time we called, no matter who was working, they were able to give us all the info we needed...status updates, what the next plans were...the whole nine yards. I don't know what we would have done without them. I told my dad that I felt like our dog received better care there than most humans get in a hospital. Would I take my pet again...In a heartbeat!!!

Loving, caring vets. Both of my large dogs had to have knee surgeries and a smaller dog back surgery over the years. All are doing well with the small dog now 17 yrs. old. Thank you for such wonderful vets and wonderful care. The staff was pleasant and accommodating as well.

RUN DONT GO NEAR THIS PLACE! They are rude, unprofessional, and have no clue what they are doing. Just Google them and see the responses and complaints for yourself. I had a horrible experience, I was LIED TO, Overcharged $315.00, and still had to find another vet to fix their awful stitch job on my dog. My pet went through hell at this place. It's one thing to charge high prices, but You shouldn't have to pay $765.00 when they did a lousy job, told you it was only going to cost $450 and was rude to you the entire time.I wish I had checked them out before I ever went there. Many have had the same thing happen to them.I encourage you to report them to the agencies below if you have had trouble with this vet so we can stop them from doing this to anyone else!
