We order cocktails. 1 house margarita NO salt. We get margarita with salt. If margaritas are served at an "authentic" Mexican rest. you use lime juice -not mix! Ordered a Mojito (um, current trendy drink).Bartender completely lost, asks someone else in Spanish & comes back & says we have no mint. Ordered for dinner: Shrimp Ixtapa... $13.99: Traditional seaside shrimp de ajo sauteed with fresh garlic, butter and spices. Served with mixed vegetables, Spanish white rice, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and avocados.. got a plate FILLED with fried onions/peppers & some tiny chewy shrimp, tasteless oil, no tomatoes or avocados. I said to the waiter, I think this is the wrong dish & retold him my order. He had no idea what the dish was supposed to have in it (it's an IXTAPA specialty according to the menu), and brought it back to kitchen. Kitchen sends my same plate back w/ a small addt'l plate of tom./avoc. & says this is the right dish. What a joke. Service persons need training desperately.
